No fim de 2014, uma verdadeira legião de artistas participou de um show em tributo a George Harrison, em Los Angeles. “George Fest: A Night To Celebrate the Music of George Harrison”, teve em seu palco nomes como Brian Wilson, Flaming Lips, Cold War Kids, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Perry Farrell, Brandon Flowers, Norah Jones e Britt Daniel, do Spoon.

O show foi registrado e será lançado mês que vem em forma de disco e vídeo, com Dhani Harrison envolvido na produção. O lançamento está previsto para 26 de fevereiro, um dia depois da data de aniversário de George, que faria 76 anos.

Um dos primeiros materiais liberados é a participação de Daniel, o líder do Spoon, tocando sua canção favorita do ex-beatle, “I Me Mine”. A bela releitura pode ser conferida abaixo.
