Uma lista que começa com Divine Comedy e termina com David Bowie não pode ser esquecida. Outra revista “adulta”, a MOJO publicou seu Top 50. Nas primeiras posições, nomes similares aos da Uncut, revista de perfil idêntico.

Nick Cave está lá com seu “Skeleton Tree”, Leonard Cohen idem, Iggy Pop não podia faltar. No meio, Frank Ocean e PJ Harvey marcando presença, além de um certo Michael Kiwanuka, cantor de soul britânico que nem 30 anos tem. A Popload segue sua tradição e publica mais uma lista de melhores discos de 2016 de publicações respeitadas mundo afora. O novo destaque é para o Top 75 da revista inglesa Uncut, direcionada mais para a velharia, sem deixar de lado um olhar esperto sobre o que está acontecendo de novo no indie e no pop.

Saindo um pouco do tradicional Top 50, por ter 25 posições a mais, as listas da revista geralmente não rendem tanta polêmica. Mas cabe destacar que nomes “novos” como Ty Segall, Skepta e Angel Olsen estão ali, representando.

O Top 10 foi ocupado por uma galera veterana, com as primeiras posições sendo ocupadas pelos campeões de audiência Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave e David Bowie, com um Radiohead no meio.

Ooooooba. Começaram a divulgar as listas de melhores discos de 2016, o que sempre dá ibope, gera intrigas, inicia confusões, tocm o caos na internet. E a primeira publicação a se aventurar neste terreno insólito foi a revista inglesa, tradicional e polêmica New Musical Express.

A publicação listou seus 50 melhores álbuns do ano e, claro, já existe polemiquinha. O Radiohead não entrou nem no Top 20, o Frank Ocean ficou longe do topo, Iggy Pop, Kaytranada e David Bowie estão representando entre os 10, mas o Kanye West em 2º e o 1975 como campeão da lista…
