Mais uma homenagem ao Alan Vega. É do Devon Welsh e foi feita em… 2011

Seguem as manifestações artísticas com pesar pela morte de Alan Vega, o gênio criador do Suicide. O mais novo integrante da turma que tem prestado suas homenagens ao cantor morto no último sábado é o talentoso e dark Devon Welsh, que até pouco tempo atrás estava na ativa com seu Majical Cloudz, hoje tomando novos rumos na carreira.

Devon publicou uma música que tem Alan Vega até no título: “Me and Alan Vega”. Contrariando o óbvio, a canção não é de agora, mas sim de 2011. Devon explicou que publicá-la agora seria um pequeno tributo. “Suicide sempre foi muito inspirador e influente para mim desde quando ouvi a primeira canção deles. Fiz esta canção em 2011, mas nunca havia divulgado. Então sinto que agora é um pequeno tributo”.

A canção, doída que só, tem versos do tipo “Me and Alan Vega were moving through your mind / I was born in 1988 those days were fine / Now the year is 2011 boy we’re having a time / Fill your cup with diet soda think of Suicide”.
