Tame Impala ao vivo em Londres: "Outro nível"

* A banda australiana psicodélica Tame Impala, com vários shows significativos e esgotados pela frente (e um muito especial para trás) chegou a Londres para divulgar seu incrível segundo disco, “Lonerism”. O grupo do menino-prodígio Kevin Parker, que toca hoje em Manchester, voltou à Inglaterra com marcante show no Brixton Academy. Eles não tocavam na capital inglesa desde 2010, assim que lançaram a estreia “Innerspeaker”. “Acho que hoje vocês vão ver uma banda em outro nível que aquele”, falou Parker já começando a apresentação com a absurda “Elephant”.

Do disco, o importante jornal britânico “The Guardian” disse o seguinte: “A bubbling, intoxicating opus that blends classic psych-rock with the lush pop, glam stomps and experimental sounds of the 70s and club highs of the 90s”.

Do show de terça, o diário fala assim: “Sneering through vengeful lyrics and emboldened by the hypnotic, churning groove that builds to almost unbearable proportions around him, Kevin Parker seems to grow to the messianic proportions the music-press hype would have us believe he inhabits. When Parker breaks the trance, jumping in to sing before striking the appropriate chord, it brings Tame Impala back to earth, but it’s still a resounding victory for the Aussies”.
